Nothing lasts forever
A while ago we were outside under the carport enjoying the traditional family braai (bbq).
After a while there was this horrible breaking sound.
On investigation (which did not take long) I found this to be the source:

I was behind her on my bike when this happened. I was surprised to see her come to what seemed to be a sudden stop. After the stop I rid on but next time I went there I saw her bike still there and tears out of her eyes.
